Mrs. Lucinda Cullum

Mrs. Lucinda Cullum, 95, Ft. Madison, died Thursday, Jan. 28, at 9 a.m. at Sacred Heart hospital, where she was admitted Jan. 27.

She was born Nov. 14, 1875, near Bonaparte, the daughter of John and Matilda Corwin McDaniel, and married Cortus Michael Cullum, April 18, 1905, in Keokuk. He preceded her in death.

Mrs. Cullum belonged to the Santa Fe Methodist church and was an honorary member of the church's Honor Circle. She was also a member of the Order of Eastern Star, White Shrine of Jerusalem, the G.I.A. of Railroad Engineers and the Mississippi Valley Lodge Auxiliary.

Surviving are a son, Daniel Cullum of Ft. Madison; two daughters, Mrs. Doyle Crow of Cedar Rapids and Mrs. M.B. Gordon of Ft. Madison; two sisters, Mrs. Elizabeth Bennett of Bonaparte and Mrs. Nellie Lueckel of Ft. Madison and two great-grandchildren.

The funeral service was held Saturday, Jan. 30 at 1:30 p.m. at the Brant-Clements chapel with the Rev. Willard O. Peterson of the Santa Fe Methodist Church, officiating. Interment was in the Hillcrest Memorial Park cemetery.
