Paul Brown

Paul Brown, a Cedar Rapids resident most of his life, and a retired auto mechanic, died Tuesday, Jan. 19 following a short illness. He was born Nov. 2, 1893 at Bloomfield. He was a veteran of World War I.

Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Howard Gibson; one grandson of Cedar Rapids; three sisters, Mrs. Bessie Bradley of Milton, Mrs. Addie Abernathy of Cedar Rapids and Mrs. Anna Kraft of Sandusky, N.Y.

He was preceded in death by his wife, the former Lela Beltzer, and a son, Donald.

Services were held at 10:30 A.M. Friday, Jan. 22 at the Turner Chapel East conducted by Dr. Arnold Herbst of St. Pauls United Methodist Church. Graveside services were held Friday at 2 P.M. at Sunnyside Cemetery.
