Miss Anna L. Stevens

Miss Anna L. Stevens, 86, died at 1:45 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 31 in Van Buren County Memorial Hospital where she had been a patient since Dec. 7.

Graveside services were held Saturday in Winona, Wisc. with burial in Woodlawn Cemetery. Catcott Funeral Home in Keosauqua handled arrangements.

She was born April 24, 1884 in Chicago. She worked as a stenographer and bookkeeper in Chicago before moving to Van Buren County. For the past 25 years she made her home in Cantril with Mrs. Irene V. Hamberg.

She is survived by two brothers, Dr. Robert Stevens of Beaumont, Tex., and Howard Stevens of Tucson, Ariz.; a sister, Isabelle Stevens of Rochester, Minn.
