Verl Ross

Verl Ross, 60, of Oskaloosa, died in the Mahaska County Hospital at 3:30 a.m. Sunday, Jan. 3. He was the father of Mrs. Jack Readhshaw of Keosauqua.

Mr. Ross, who was retired, had been a hospital patient for a day, and his death was unexpected. He is survived by his widow, two sons and three daughters.

The funeral was held at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 6 in the Powers Funeral Home in Oskaloosa, with burial in a Tracy, Iowa Cemetery.
