Bessie Henrietta Stewart, 76, died at 6 a.m. Sunday, Jan. 3 at Van Buren County Memorial Hospital where she had been a patient over the week end.
The daughter of Ira B. and Jeanetta Ann Stewart, she was born Nov. 2, 1894, in southern Iowa. Nieces and nephews survive.
The service was held at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at the Catcott Funeral Home in Keosauqua conducted by the Rev. James M. Ford. Burial was in Vernon Cemetery.
