Ralph Tomlinson

Word was received Saturday of the death of Ralph L. Tomlinson, 60, vice principal of Woodrow Wilson Junior High in Des Moines, who died Friday, October 23 at Iowa Methodist Hospital. He had suffered a heart attack eight days ago.

Service for Tomlinson was held at 10 a.m. Monday, October 26 at Highland Park Presbyterian Church where he was a member. Burial was in the Forrest Home Cemetery in Mount Pleasant.

His widow is the former Virginia O. Osborn, whose father was minister of the Methodist Church in Fairfield some years ago. She is well remembered in this community. Mr. Tomlinson was a former superintendent of the Bonaparte school and was a brother-in-law of Loren Peel of Cantril.

Tomlinson is also survived by a daughter, Mrs. R.J. Rossi of Bay City, Texas.
