Miss Cordelia Wirsig

Miss Cordelia Wirsig, 82, of Donnellson, died Friday, Nov. 20, at 5:30 p.m. in Graham hospital, Keokuk, after a lengthy illness.

She was born Dec. 8, 1887 in Van Buren Township, the daughter of Paul H. Wirsig and Elenora Vornkahl Wirsig. Miss Wirsig was a lifelong resident of the Embury community and was a member of the Embury Woman's Society of Christian Service.

She was a member of the United Church of Christ, Donnellson.

She is survived by one sister, Mrs. Nora Fett of Keokuk; two nieces and three nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents and three brothers.

The Funeral service was held Monday, Nov. 23, at 2 p.m. in the Miller-Hofbauer Funeral Home, Donnellson. The Rev. Victor Engelmann officiated. Burial in Embury cemetery.
