Mrs. James McMullen

Mrs. James Fearl McMullen, 62, Hillsboro Rt. 2, died Friday morning, Oct. 9, at Grass Valley, Calif., where she was visiting relatives.

She was born Nov. 3, 1907 in Henry county, the daughter of Jesse and Elsie Calhoun Kirk. She married James McMullen at Mt. Pleasant, Feb. 6, 1929. She was a member of the Green Mound Church of God.

She is survived by her husband; one daughter, Mrs. Ron Ford, Orangevale, Calif.; one granddaughter; three brothers, Cary Kirk, New London, Frank Kirk, Mt. Pleasant, Jack Kirk, Grass Valley, Calif.; four sisters, Velma Kirk, Mitchellville, Wilma Scarbrough, Mt. Pleasant, Helen Giberson, Hillsboro, and Wanda Gill Mt. Pleasant.

Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 13 at the Green Mound Church of God, Pleasant Hill cemetery.
