Mrs. Lola E. Miller

Mrs. Lola E. Miller, 89, of Farmington, died Friday, Nov. 27, at 1 a.m. at the home of her daughter Mrs. Carl Schmidt. She had been in failing health for a month.

She was born Feb. 2, 1881 at Monticello, Ill., the daughter of George and Elizabeth Milligan Clinton.

She married Arthur J. Miller on June 23, 1903 at Keokuk. He died July 30, 1970.

A resident of Farmington for 50 years, she was a member of the Farmington Baptist church and the Cemetery Association.

Surviving are her daughter, Mrs. Carl (Velma) Schmidt of Farmington; three grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, one daughter and one sister.

The funeral service was held Monday, Nov. 30, at 2 p.m. in the Miller-Hofbauer Funeral Home, Farmington. Robert Anders, lay speaker of the Baptist church, officiated. Burial was in Greenglade cemetery.
