Will H. Hissem

Will H. Hissem, son of Jesse and Mary Downing Hissen(?) was born on May 21, 1894 near Douds, Iowa and passed away at 2:10 a.m. Sept. 15, 1970 at his home in Milton after a lengthy illness.

He was united in marriage to Ethel May Brewer on Feb. 17, 1915, who survives. Also surviving are four daughters: (Louise) Mrs. Clarence Wells; (Marie) Mrs. Kenneth Gooden, (Maxine) Mrs. Maynard Manske, all of Milton, and (Carol) Mrs. Russell Boyd of Keosauqua; a son, Ned of Sequim, Washington; twenty-one grandchildren, seventeen great grandchildren; a Step-Mother, Mrs. Alice Hissem of Ottumwa; three sisters: Mrs. Maude Vaughn and Mrs. Anna Lasley both of Corning, California, and Mrs. Mable Bonar of Milton; Three brothers, Weldon of Douds, Earl of Santa Monica, Calif., and Jesse of Ottumwa; many nieces . . .
