Willis F. Hohl

Willis F. Hohl, 58-year-old farmer and life resident of the Donnellson-Argyle area, died in Graham hospital, Keokuk, at 5:45 a.m. Thursday, June 25. He had been ill for 2 1/2 years.

Mr. Hohl was the son of August and Laura Krebill Hohl, and was born May 21, 1912, at Donnellson. He married Mary Alice Mehl at Franklin on New Year's Day, 1934.

He was a member and trustee of the Argyle United Presbyterian church.

Surviving are his wife; his father and stepmother, Mr. and Mrs. August Hohl; two daughters, Mrs. Richard Leazer, Aviano Air Base, Italy, and Mrs. Arthur Carlson, Keokuk; two brothers, Lester H. Hohl of Keosauqua and Dale M. Hohl of Mayville, N.D.; one sister, Mrs. Louis P. Evica of Milwaukee; and three grandsons.

The funeral service was held Saturday, June 27 at 2 p.m. at the Argyle United Presbyterian church with the Rev. William McConnlee officiating. Burial was in Evangelical cemetery at Franklin.
