Harman Davis

Harman (Ote) Davis, 87, died at Holden nursing home in Keosauqua Monday, June 29 at 9:50 a.m. following a lingering illness.

He was born May 20, 1883, on a farm northeast of Milton, the son of Cass and Mary Harman Davis. On Nov. 7, 1907, he married Nellie Parsons, who survives. Also surviving are one son, Carl Davis of Hampton, Ill.; two daughters, Luetha George of East Moline, Ill. and Mrs. Albaretta Hansen of Anchorage, Alaska; 12 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.

The funeral service was held Wednesday at 2 p.m. at the Methodist Church in Milton conducted by the Rev. Hebert Phillips. Burial was in Lebanon Cemetery.
