Funeral services for Gerald Murray, 69, father of Mrs. Frances Bass of Keosauqua, were held May 1 at St. Francis Catholic Church in LaSalle, Ill.

Mrs. Arnold Barker accompanied Mrs. Bass to La Salle for the service.

Mr. Murray died April 29 in a LaSalle hospital following a lingering illness. Burial was also in LaSalle. He had been hospitalized for a month.

A retired Westclox employee, Mr. Murray is survived by his daughter and a brother, Edmund Murray, also of LaSalle. He was preceded in death by his wife and a son.
