Lisle Bargar

Lisle Bargar, 64, of Farmington route 1 died suddenly Tuesday, April 28 at 9:15 p.m. at his home west of Primrose.

He was born Aug. 6, 1905 in Lee county, the son of John and Maggie K. Robertson Bargar.

He married Ruby Adkisson on Feb. 28, 1939 at Lancaster, Mo. and she survives.

He was a farmer and a lifelong resident of the community. Mr. Bargar was a member of the Sharon Presbyterian church and on of its former ruling elders. He also had held other offices in the church.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by one son, Gilbert Bargar of rural route Farmington; and two sisters, Mrs. Claude Adkisson of Donnellson rural route and Mrs. Harold Smith of Fairfield; and nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

The funeral service was held Friday, May 1, at 2 p.m. in the Sharon Presbyterian church with the Rev. Kenneth Harden officiating. Burial was in the Sharon cemetery.

Miller's Home for Funerals in Donnellson was in charge of arrangements.
