Funeral services for W.A. Craig, 91, of Meridan, Calif., who died in a Marysville, Calif., nursing home at 5:15 p.m. Saturday, Mar. 21 will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, Mar. 26 in the Catcott Funeral Home, Keosauqua.

The Rev. Howard McPeak, pastor of the Keosauqua Christian Church, will officiate, and burial will be in Fellows Cemetery.

Mr. Craig was born April 23, 1878 in the Vernon area. On Nov. 26, 1902, he married Mabel DeHart in Keosauqua, who preceded him in death. He operated a hardware store at Keosauqua and also farmed and did carpentry work. He was a member of the Keosauqua Christian Church.

He is survived by three sons, Harvey Craig and Charles Craig of Meridan, Calif., Carl Craig of Elk Grove, Calif.; two daughters Mrs. Hollis Elliott of Keosauqua and Mrs. Mary Barr of Meridan, Calif.; nine grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.

Besides his wife, a daughter and infant son preceded him in death.
