Fred C. Morrison

Fred C. Morrison, 82, Batavia, died at the Van Buren Memorial Hospital in Keosauqua at 2:55 a.m. Wednesday, March 11.

Born May 31, 1887, in Batavia, he was the son of George B. and Leota Widger Morrison. He married Ethel Evans Aug. 29, 1917. She died in 1958. He made his home the past two years with a nieces, Miss Letha Plowman of Keokuk and Stockport.

She survives as do two other nieces, Mrs. Lloyd Polson of Douds and Mrs. Frank Rysdam of Bloomfield.

Services were held at Campbell Funeral Home in Eldon Friday at 2 p.m. with the Rev. Kermit Black officiating. Burial was at Batavia Cemetery.
