Mrs. Dorothy Grimm

Mrs. Dorothy Grimm, 87, of Riverside, Ill. died Saturday, April 18, at 4 a.m. in Riverside after a lengthy illness.

She was born Oct. 31, 1882 at Farmington, the daughter of Henry and Wilhelmina Hartrick.

Her marriage to Thomas Grimm of Farmington took place in 1919. He preceded her in death.

A former school teacher, she was a resident of Farmington until 1950 when she moved to Riverside. She was a member of the Farmington United Methodist church and was a 50-year member of chapter O P.E.O.

Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Harold Cotta of Riverside, Ill. and Miss Elizabeth Grimm of Rochester, Minn.; three step-daughters, Mrs. Edna Hols of Farmington, Mrs. Ollie Apeland of Waukegan, Ill., and Mrs. Hazel Rohdy of Donnellson; two step-sons, Harley Grimm of Farmington and Raymond Grimm of Donnellson; one brother, Sam Hartrick of Farmington; and three grandchildren.

In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents, three sisters and two brothers.

The funeral service was held Monday, April 20, at 10 a.m. in the Farmington United Methodist church with the Rev. Edward Maus officiating. Burial was in Greenglade cemetery, Farmington.

Miller's Home for Funerals in Farmington was in charge of arrangements.
