Mrs. Orpha B. Gipson

Funeral services for Mrs. Orpah B. Gipson, 80, former Hillsboro resident, were held at the Catcott Funeral Home in Keosauqua at 2 p.m. Monday, April 20. The Rev. Howard McPeak, Christian Church pastor, officiated with burial in the Hillsboro Cemetery.

Mrs. Gipson died Friday morning in St. Louis, Mo. Her husband, Jesse Gipson, died in July 1954. Surviving are two sons, Wallace of Kansas City, Mo. and Landis of Sedalia, Mo.; one daughter, Mrs. Dora Woolever of St. Louis.

Mrs. Gipson was born June 17, 1889. Her parents were Milton and Anna Stonehouse Landis.
