Perry A. Still

Perry A. Still, 79, of Cedar Falls, formerly of rural Bonaparte, died Tuesday, March 17, at 1:30 a.m. in the Sartori hospital at Cedar Falls. He had been in failing health for some time but seriously ill since Febraury.

The son of Columbus and Elizabeth Hobbs Still, he was born June 8, 1890 in Iowa.

He married Mary Alice Wallingford on April 15, 1919 at Keokuk. She died April 30, 1966. He farmed northeast of Bonaparte for many years.

Surviving are two sons, Dale of Bonaparte and Henry of Thousand Oaks, Calif.; two daughters, Mrs. Walter Corsby of Donnellson, Mrs. Floyd O'Neal of Cedar Falls, four sisters, Mrs. Minnie Temple of Galesburg, Ill., Mrs. Ora Conover of Lowell, Mrs. Mary Pierce of Muscatine, Mrs. Rebecca Tipton of Burlington; 11 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, two brothers and one grandson.

Arrangements are pending at Miller's Home for Funerals in Donnellson.

Funeral services will be held Friday, March 20 at 2 p.m. at the Sharon Presbyterian Church with the Rev. Kenneth Harden officiating. Burial will be in Sharon Cemetery. The body is at Miller's Home for Funerals in Farmington.
