Mrs. Reuben Bighley

Mrs. Ernestine Bighley, Kahoka died Sunday, Feb. 1 at 3:40 P.M. in Van Buren County Memorial Hospital, Keosauqua.

Born April 27, 1886, in New York City, she was the daughter of Adam and Celestine Gurlock Heidt.

She married S.W. Todd on Jan. 31, 1914 at Aurora, Ill. and he preceded her in death in 1952. On Oct. 11, 1956 she was married to Reuben L. Bighley, who survives.

Also surviving are two sons, Albert Todd of Mt. Sterling, Iowa and William Todd of Granger, Mo.; one brother, Albert Heidt of Aurora; two sisters, Mrs. Anna Kohlmeyer, Chicago and Mrs. Ann Hagen, New Jersey; a half brother, Leon Atkinson, Wisconsin, and a half sister, Gertrude Atkinson, Aurora, Ill.

Funeral services were held at 2:00 P.M. Wednesday in the Assembly of God Church, Farmington, with the Rev. Bruce Tompkinson officiating. Burial in Blackledge Cemetery near Mt. Sterling.
