Mrs. Karl Danneil

Mrs. Karl Danneil, 62, of Glenview, Ill. died in an Evanston, Ill. hospital Saturday, Dec. 6 after a lengthy illness. The body was taken to the Catcott Funeral Home in Keosauqua.

She was Frances Downard, daughter of John and Justina Downard, born Jan. 19, 1907 near Stockport. She married Karl Danneil in 1939.

Survivors are her husband; four sons, Karl Lee Danneil of Pittsfield, Mass., Frank Danniel of Oakland, Calif., Loren and Marvin Danneil at home; five brothers, Kenneth and Verne Downard of Keosauqua, Dale Downard of Knoxville, Robert Downard of Peoria, Ill., and Roy Downard of Silvertown, Ohio; three sisters, Mrs. Ruth Vickerman and Mrs. marguerite Archibald of Keosauqua, Mrs. Roberta Lerche of Dallas, Texas.

She was preceded in death by two brothers, John and Orlen Dowanrd. She was a member of the Glenview Community Church.

Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 10 in the Keosauqua Congregational Church with the Rev. Millard Marshall officiating. Burial was in Millers Chapel Cemetery near Keosauqua.
