Mrs. Nellie Hootman

Mrs. Nellie V. Hootman, 71, widow of David F. Hottman, died Thursday morning, Nov. 6 at New Glarus, Wis.

Born Feb. 19, 1898, near Douds, she was the daughter of Thomas and Nina Laughlin Doud.

She is survived by one daughter, Helen Bower of New Glarus; three grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; one brother, Charles of Fairfield; and one sister, Julie Moore of Stockport.

She was preceded in death by her husband in 1941.

Services were held Sunday, Nov. 9 at 2 p.m. at the Burch Funeral Home in Birmingham with the Rev. Robert G. Mann officiating. Burial was in Kilbourn Cemetery.
