Sam Shott
Sam Shott, son of Sam and Mary Shott was born July 11, 1898 and passed away Tuesday, Sept. 9 after an illness of lung cancer. Mr. Shott donated his body to the University of New Mexico for medical research.
Mrs. Shott was born in Birmingham and lived there a number of years. He moved to Chicago, Ill. where he met and married Mrs. Shott in 1935.
He worked for the Fred Harvey Restaurant system in Chicago for many years and in Albuquerque, New Mexico since 1959 until his retirement in 1967.
He is survived by his widow, Arrah Wanna; one son, Robert James, both of Albuquerque; and two sisters, Pauline Davis and Neil Tribbett of Chicago, Illinois.
