John M. Norton

John Milton Norton, 62, Milton, died at his farm home at 12:45 p.m. Thursday.

He was born July 23, 1907, in Hartwick, to William and Blanche Guinn (Norton). On June 15, 1929, he married Viola Fuhr who survives.

Also surviving are one daughter, Mrs. Phyllis McCullough of Jewett City, Conn.; one son, Wayne Norton of Milton; five grandchildren; his mother, Mrs. William Norton of Washington, Iowa; and one sister, Mrs. Orville Griggs of Keota.

The service was Saturday at 2 P.M. at the Milton Methodist Church with the Rev. Ray Pearson of Quincy, Ill., and the Rev. Herbert Phillips of Milton officiating. Burial will be in Sunnyside Cemetery. Wellborn Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
