Fred C. De Rosear

Fred C. De Rosear, 66, of Memphis died at 5:00 A.M. Friday, June 13, in the Davis County Hospital in Bloomfield, Iowa, following two recent heart attacks.

He was associated with the De Rosear Flower and Gift shops in Memphis, Edina and Kirsville. He was a member of the First Presbyterian Church in Memphis, A.F. and A.M. No. 16 and the Chapter and Commandery, also at Memphis.

Born Sept. 23, 1902, in Lee County, Iowa, he was the son of Albert and Emma Saxe De Rosear.

He married Mabel Warson on Nov. 3, 1919, and she survives. Also surviving are one daughter, Mrs. Robert (Lois) Ross of Memphis, two sons, Deon of Edina and Dwight of Memphis, 10 grandchildren, one brother Clyde Fort Madison, 3 sisters, Mrs. Mary Ross, Hillsboro, Iowa, Mrs. Vallie Dalton and Mrs. Mabel Taylor, both of Mt. Pleasant, Iowa.

He was preceded in death by 1 brother and 2 sisters.

Funeral services were held Sunday, June 15, at 3:00 P.M. in the Presbyterian Church at Memphis with the Rev. Billy J.T. Hauer officiating. Burial was in Memphis Cemetery.
