Raymond J. Mathies

Funeral service for Raymond J. Mathies, 62, a farmer in the Revere, Mo. area who died at 3 p.m. Tuesday, May 27 was held Thursday, May 29, at 2 p.m. in the Gutting-Wilson Funeral Home at Kahoka, Mo. Burial was in Peaksville cemetery.

Mr. Mathies died while shingling a roof at the Paul Teel home at Revere.

He was born Oct. 22, 1906 at Farmington, the son of Ernest and Pearl Hardy Mathies.

He married Eloise Ball on Oct. 15, 1935 at Kahoka and she survives. Also surviving are one son, Raymond Lee Mathies of Revere and three grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents.
