Lester Montooth

Lester Montooth, 92, died at Moore Nursing Home, Stockport, Friday night, May 9.

Born Oct. 8, 1876, near Lakewood, Ill., he was the son of Andy and Rachel Palmer Montooth.

Surviving are a number of nieces and nephews.

Mr. Montooth had lived in Birmingham and Stockport over 50 years and before entering the nursing home had lived at the Marguerite Beswick farm, west of Stockport.

The funeral was held Monday, May 12 at 10 a.m. at the Burch Funeral Home in Birmingham with the Rev. Chester C. Werft officiating. Burial was in Eiler Cemetery, near Tower Hills, Ill.
