Ray P. Bryson

Ray Paterson Bryson, 77, Ft. Madison, died at 11 a.m. Thursday, March 27 at St. Joseph's hospital, Belvedere, Ill., after being in failing health for several months. He was born Aug. 12, 1891, in Keosauqua, the son of Eward P. and Mary Molly Hyde Bryson.

Mr. Bryson was married to Elsie Peckstein in Farmington on Oct. 12, 1913.

Surviving are two granddaughters, Mrs. James Ziegler, Belvedere and Mrs. Perry Schneider of Ft. Madison and one grandson, Edwin Francis Sporkman of Los Angeles, California.

Services were held Saturday, March 29 at 2 p.m. at the Barr Memorial chapel, Ft. Madison. Rev. Willard Peterson officiated. Burial was in Oakland cemetery.
