Mrs. Harry Clawson

Mrs. Velva Francis Clawson, daughter of Charles and Mary Wrightsman was born March 8, 1912, at Memphis, Missouri, and departed this life Tuesday, March 25, 1969, at the Van Buren County Hospital in Keosauqua at the age of 57.

On Sept. 8, 1960, she was married to Harry Clawson, and they had made their home in Selma since 1961.

Remaining to mourn her passing are her husband, a son, William Gleason of Columbia, Mo., a sister, Elma Goldsbury, other relatives and neighbors and friends.

Funeral services were held Friday, March 28, 1969, at 10 a.m. at the Pedrick Funeral Home in Douds, with the Rev. Dennis Nicholson, pastor of the Selma United Methodist Church officiating. Interment was in the Iowaville Cemetery near Selma.
