Ralph C. Hawk

Ralph Clifford Hawk, 79, of Bonaparte, died Sunday, March 23, at 12:30 a.m. in St. Joseph hospital, Keokuk. He had been a patient since March 6.

He was born Sept. 5, 1889 at Fairfield, the son of Henry and Anna Bates Hawk. He spent his childhood at Fairfield and Birmingham, the rest of his life near Bonaparte.

He married Beatrice Dawson on Sept. 18, 1918 at Ottumwa. She survives.

A retired farmer, he lived in Bonaparte the last 6 years. He was a veteran of W.W.I.
