Miss Iva Ewing
Miss Iva Ewing, 77, of Keosauqua, died about 8:45 p.m. Sunday in Memorial Hospital where she was taken from the Moore Nursing Home at Stockport about a month ago for treatment of a fractured hip.
She was born at Bentonsport, December 24, 1891, the daughter of William and Nancy Rupe Ewing.
She had been a patient in the Moore Nursing Home since December 1964.
She was a member of the Christian Church.
Miss Ewing is survived by two brothers, Martin Ewing of Dexter, Mo., and Emmett Ewing of Bonaparte. Funeral services were held Tuesday at 2 p.m. at the Catcott Funeral Home. Rev. Howard McPeak officiated. Burial was in Forbes Cemetery.
