Mrs. Ruth Claxton

Mrs. Ruth Reeve Claxton, 72, of Waterloo, a former Keosauqua resident, died at Waterloo Saturday, Feb. 22. Funeral services were held at Fayette Tuesday and burial was at Hampton.

Mrs. Claxton was a 50-year member of Lynds Chapter Order of Eastern Star at Keosauqua.

She is survived by her husband and a daughter, Mrs. Paul Jones of Montgomery, Ala., and five grandchildren.

Her former husband, Morton Reeve, a former manager of the Farmers Co-operative Creamery at Keosauqua, died a number of years ago. A son, Delos Reeve, also preceded her.
