Dale M. Bass

Dale M. Bass, 43, died in an auto accident early Monday evening, Jan. 20, en route to Ottumwa to attend an O.E.O. meeting.

The son of Francis and Fern Knaeble Bass, he was born July 10, 1925 at Barberton, Ohio. He was married Jnue(err) 29, 1946 to Frances Murray at Chicago, Ill. She survives.

He was a graduate of the Garrett Theological Seminary at Evanston, Ill. Since June 1968 he has been serving as pastor for the Keosauqua Center Chapel and Bentonsport United Methodist Churches.

In addition to his widow he is survived by his mother, Mrs. Frank Dean of Central Park, Ore.; two brothers, Clair Bass of Franklin Park, Ill. and Virgil Bass of Rolling Meadows, Ill.; a sister, Mrs. Beatrice Rose, Chicago, Ill.

The body is at the Catcott Funeral Home, Keosauqua.
