Brown Stonebraker

Brown Stonebraker, 65, died Saturday night, Dec. 21, in Truth Or Consequences, N. Mex., where he and his wife had gone to spend the winter.

Stonebraker lived north of Stockport. The body returned to the Burch Funeral Home in Birmingham. Services were held Thursday at 2 p.m. at the Stockport United Methodist Church in charge of the Rev. Dwight C. Bonham. Burial was in Maple Hill Cemetery at Birmingham.

Stonebraker was born May 1, 1903, the son of S.H. and Elizabeth Locke Stonebraker. On May 1, 1927, he was married to Bernice Johnston, who survives.

Also surviving are the following children: Carroll Stonebraker, Santa Ana, Calif.; Dean Stonebraker, Stockport; and Mrs. Clara Mae Barton, Ottumwa.

Other survivors include four grandchildren and three sisters, Mrs. Lester Van Hoosear, Quincy, Mich.; Mrs. Blanche Agnew and Mrs. Margaret Bell, both of Donnellson.

Stonebraker was a member of the Stockport United Methodist Church. The family would appreciate memorials to the church.
