JANE JONES PAYE

Jane Jones, the only daughter of John and Jane Gilchrist, was born December 1, 1883, south of Birmingham and died November 20 at Pacolma, Calif.

She was preceded in death by her parents, one brother and two sons, Robert Coop and John Coop.

She has seven living children, Lydia Albright of Gardenia, Calif., Frank Coop of Long Beach, Calif., Bryan Coop of Turlock, Calif., Rosia Goodrich of Pacolma, Calif., Ralph Abbot of Ontario and one step-son, Basil Coop of Yount Vill, Calif. She has 25 grandchildren and 41 great grandchildren, a number of nieces and nephews.

She leaves to mourn her passing her only living brother, Asa Jones of Kilbourn, Iowa.

Services were held Wednesday, Nov. 27, at 2 p.m. at the Burch Funeral Home in Birmingham with Dwight C. Bonham, pastor of the United Methodist Church officiating. Burial was in Maple Hill Cemetery.
