LESTER PETERIE

Lester Peterie, 54-year-old resident of Farmington, died in Van Buren County hospital, Keosauqua, at 4:25 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 2.

A laborer, Mr. Peterie was the son of Bart and Ethel Harness Peterie, and was born Feb. 5, 1909. He was a bachelor.

Surviving are two brothers, Esten Peterie of Audubon and Keith Peterie of Donnellson.

Services will be held Wednesday, Oct. 5 at 2 p.m. at Miller's Home for Funerals in Farmington. Rev. Leroy Moore will officiate. Burial will be in the Christy cemetery about 8 miles southwest of Farmington.
