MRS. GEORGE COCHRAN

Mrs. Alma Imelda Cochran, 82, died Wednesday, July 20 at 7:30 p.m. at Ottumwa Hospital where she had been a patient 10 days.

Born July 22, 1883, in Cantril, she was the daughter of Milton and Mary Linn. She married George Cochran in 1903. He preceded her in death.

She was a member of the Cantril Methodist Church, Eastern Star Lodge, American Legion Auxiliary.

Survivors include her children: Selma Dorson of Cantril, Bates Cochran of Pomona, Calif., Lynn and Charles T. Cochran of Marion and George L. Cochran of Fort Morgan, Colo.; four grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; a brother, H.A. Linn of Fairfield; two sisters, Edith Smith of Fairmont, Minn., and Florence Craig of Williamstown, Mo. She was preceded in death by a daughter, two sisters and three brothers.

Services were held Friday, July 22 at 2 p.m. at the Cantril Methodist Church. The Rev. Herbert Phillips officiated. Burial was in Maple Grove Cemetery.
