Mrs. Anna Aylor

Mrs. Anna Theresa Aylor, 77, died Wednesday, April 27 in Van Buren County hospital, after a long period of failing health. She had been living at the Moore nursing home in Stockport.

The daughter of Benjamin and Carolyn Spohn Dowell, Mrs. Aylor was born March 10, 1889, near Keosauqua. She was married to Mark L. Aylor at Keosauqua on Sept. 12, 1912. Mr. Aylor died Feb. 2, 1961.

Mrs. Aylor was a member of the Mt. Zion Presbyterian church and the Royal Neighbors of America.

Surviving are two sons, Jack M. and Joseph Aylor, both of Las Vegas, Nev.; four daughters, Mrs. Ruth Crawford of Stockport, Mrs. Samuel Roush of Keosauqua, Mrs. Robert Cochran and Mrs. Russell Gordy, both of Mt. Sterling; three sisters, Mrs. Edna Moore of Chula Vista, Calif., Mrs. Lorna Black of Cowden, Ill. and Mrs. Wealtha Summerville of Lincoln Park, Mich.; and 14 grandchildren.

Services were held Saturday, April 30 at 2:00 o'clock at the Catcott funeral home, Keosauqua, the Rev. Chester Werft officiating. Burial in Purdom cemetery.
