BERTHA McNULTY

FARMINGTON - Bertha L. McNulty, 88, of Farmington died the afternoon of Jan. 31 at Van Buren County Memorial Hospital in Keosauqua.

She was born Jan. 9, 1890, at Ottumwa to John and Charlotte Martin McFarland. She married George E. McNulty Feb. 12, 1907, at Ottumwa. They moved to Farmington from Chicago in 1955. She was a member of United Methodist Church at Farmington and Royal Neighbors of America.

Survivors: daughters Georgia Van Hyning of Fort Madison and Frances Gaston of Farmington; a son, Floyd of Ontario, Calif.; and nine grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.

Services: 1:30 p.m. Friday at Miller-Hofbauer Funeral Home in Farmington, the Rev. Scott Holmes officiating. Burial: Christy Cemetery southwest of Farmington.
