MARY STRABALA

FARMINGTON - Mary B. Strabala, 77, of Farmington, died this morning at Van Buren County Hospital in Keosauqua.

She was born Oct. 5, 1900, at Boone to John and Lula May Goodwell Lampfair. She married Ralph B. Strabala in 1917 at Ogden. She spent most of her married life in Farmington and was a member of St. Boniface Catholic Church, a Gold Star mother and a member of American Legion Auxiliary.

Surviving: daughters Mrs. Mary Russell of Keosauqua, Mrs. Monica Birchmier of Iowa City, Mrs. Veronica Lowry of Farmington and Mrs. Lula Smith of Davenport; stepsons Marion of Muscatine and Ervin of Salt Lake City, Utah.; a brother and four sisters; and 15 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren.

Services: 10 a.m. Wednesday in St. Boniface Catholic Church, Father Dennis Martin officiating. Burial: Greenglade Cemetery. Rosary: 7 p.m. Tuesday at Miller-Hofbauer Funeral Home in Farmington.
