CHARLES S. CARR

ELDON - Services for Charles S. Carr, 74, of Eldon, who died Sept. 10, will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Pedrick Funeral Home in Douds.

The Revs. L.C. and Helen Brown will officiate. Graveside services and burial will be Wednesday at 9 a.m. in Lakeview Cemetery at Aidkin, Minn.

The son of Stephen and Mary Alice Gardner Carr, he was born March 7, 1903, in Van Buren County. On July 5, 1925, he married Dora C. Crow in Ottumwa. She died in 1963. On July 19, 1972, he married Betty Boyd at Carthage, Ill.

Survivors: his wife; sons Dave of Jefferson, S.D. and Donald of Yakima, Wash.; daughters Ruth Antonsen of Rochester, Wash., Ruby Myers and Reva Wright, both of Ottumwa; 21 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren; a sister, Beth McIntosh of Eldon; and a brother, Thomas of Blythe, Calif.

He was employed a number of years at John Morrell & Co. and had operated a locker plant in Avon, S.D., and farmed near Aiken, Minn. He had lived in Eldon the past six years.
