FRED E. EBERT
MILTON - Fred Eldon Ebert, 53, of Milton, died Monday at 8:32 a.m. at Davis County Hospital in Bloomfield, where he was admitted Feb. 13.
He was born May 26, 1923, at Nauvoo, Ill., to Floyd and Pearl Law Ebert. He was a farmer.
On April 14, 1945, he married Josephine Bollin. She survives.
Also surviving are three sons, Michael of Scottsdale, Ariz., Daniel of Downing, Mo., and Bradley of Milton; one daughter, Cynthia Dixon of Lancaster, Mo.; four grandchildren; three brothers, Max of Media, Ill., Clarence of Blandinsville, Ill., and Floyd of Biggsville, Ill.; and three sisters, Leona Quivey and Clarissa Lanphere, both of LaHarpe, Ill., and Frieda Smith of New London.
The service will be Thursday at 2 p.m. at the Milton Heritage Church, with the Rev. Omar Woltering officiating. Burial will be in Sunnyside Cemetery.
Visitation will be Wednesday from 7 to 9 p.m. at Wellborn Funeral Home. A memorial fund has been established.
