Ottumwa, Iowa, Tuesday, March 8, 1977

EMMER TROUT

ELDON - Emmer Trout, 79, died Saturday at 12:30 p.m. at Covina, Calif.

He was born Sept. 28, 1897, in Davis County near Selma to William and Elvira Bishop Trout. A resident of Eldon most of his life, he was a retired railroad car inspector for the Rock Island Railroad. He was a member of the Brotherhood of Railroad Trainmen.

On Dec. 16, 1921, he married Berneice Carl. She died in January of this year.

Surviving is one son, Carl of Covina; two granddaughters; and two great-granddaughters.

A graveside service will be held Thursday a 1 p.m. in the Eldon Cemetery. The Rev. Milton Forbes will officiate.

Campbell Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
