Ottumwa, Iowa, Thursday, February 24, 1977

RUBY M. WAGNER

FAIRFIELD - Ruby Marie Wagner, 52, of 608 S. Stone St., died Wednesday at 8:07 p.m. at University Hospital in Iowa City, following an illness of a week.

She was born Sept. 5, 1924, near Fairfield to Thomas and Mabel Nott Lewman. On Dec. 23, 1951, she married Robert H. Wagner at Beaumont, Tex. Most of their married life was spent in Douds and Fairfield.

Surviving are her widower; two sons, Edward R. Snell of Monrovia, Calif., and Ernest L. Snell of Stockton, Calif., one daughter, Patricia M. Harrison of Fairfield; her mother, of Keosauqua; 11 grandchildren; two brothers, Thomas Lewman of Douds and Rex Lewman of Libertyville; three sisters, Virginia Beeman of Des Moines, Mary Taggart of Bayside, N.Y., and Betty McCarty of Keosauqua; one stepbrother, Ernest Beverlin of Ottumwa; and one step-sister, Pauline Bruders of Independence, Mo.

The funeral will be Saturday at 1:30 p.m. at the Keosauqua United Methodist Church, with the Rev. John Cornish officiating. Burial will be in the Pittsburg Cemetery.

The body is at Pedrick Funeral Home in Keosauqua.
