Ottumwa, Iowa, Tuesday, February 22, 1977

CARL F. ANDERSON

SELMA - Carl F. Anderson, 63, died Monday at 1:45 p.m. at his farm southwest of Selma, following a long illness.

He was born April 28, 1913, in West Des Moines to Howe and Ethel Spencer Anderson. On Oct. 5, 1935, he married Mildred Morris at Center Point. Except for two years in Linn County, they lived in the Keosauqua community until moving in 1967 to the present farm.

He was a member of the Eagles Lodge in Fairfield.

Surviving are his widow; his mother and one sister, Caribelle Witt, both of What Cheer; and one brother, Frederick of Oskaloosa.

The body will lie in state at Pedrick Funeral Home in Keosauqua. The service will be Thursday at 1:30 p.m. at the Keosauqua funeral home, with the Rev. Harold Schnedler officiating. Burial will be in Fellows Cemetery at Keosauqua.
