VON SEGGEN SERVICE

FARMINGTON - Services will be at 1:30 p.m. Monday at Farmington United Methodist Church for Viola Fern Von Seggen, 59, who was killed Friday morning in a multiple-vehicle collision on Iowa 2 west of Fort Madison.

The Rev. Scott Holmes will officiate. Burial will be in Greenglade Cemetery here.

A native of the Farmington area, Mrs. Von Seggen was born Aug. 26, 1917 at Farmington, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Floyd Boyer. She married Ivan W. Von Seggen here on Dec. 26, 1948. He survives.

She was employed the past 10 years at the Gleason Co. in Fort Madison. Mrs. Von Seggen was a member of Rebekah Lodge 23, the United Methodist Women and the Bible Study Club.

Also surviving are one sister, Mrs. Lela Barker of Farmington.

Visitation will be at the Miller-Hofbauer Funeral Home from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Sunday.
