BRUCE N. BOLEY

KEOSAUQUA - Bruce N. Boley, 80, a retired Keosauqua farmer, died today at 4:07 a.m. at Van Buren County Hospital.

He was born Feb. 12, 1896, near Hillsboro to Sylvester and Luella Brown Boley. His wife, Helen Miller, died in 1967.

Surviving are one daughter, Mrs. Ralph Johnston of Baring, Mo.; three grandchildren; one brother, Burch of Hillsboro; and two sisters, Mrs. Paul Ruby of Ottumwa and Mrs. Rex Miller of Bonaparte.

He was a member of the Hillsboro Baptist Church, Keosauqua Masonic Lodge 10, York Rite Masonic Bodies at Ottumwa and the Keosauqua Rotary Club.

The service will be Sunday at 2 p.m. at the Mount Zion Presbyterian Church north of Keosauqua, with the Revs. Lester Smith and Harold Schnedler officiating. Burial will be in the Hillsboro Cemetery. Masonic rites will be held.

A memorial has been established payable to the cancer fund. The body is at Pedrick Funeral Home in Keosauqua.
