RAYMOND F. RIDER

KEOSAUQUA - Raymond F. Rider, 76, a retired farmer, died at 5:25 a.m. today at Van Buren County Memorial Hospital. He suffered a stroke Thursday morning at his home.

The son of Harry and Jessie DeVore Rider, he was born May 14, 1900 at Oquawka, Ill. He moved with his parents to Van Buren County in 1920. On Oct. 4, 1926 he married Greta Bingaman at Keosauqua. They farmed in the Lebanon community until retiring to Keosauqua in 1970.

Surviving are his widow; a daughter, Mrs. Howard Buckles of Keosauqua; two grandchildren; and a sister, Mrs. Edith Schwartz of Bonaparte.

He was a member of the Lebanon United Methodist Church where services will be held Sunday at 2 p.m. with Rev. L.C. Brown and Rev. Harold Harryman officiating. Interment will be in Lebanon Cemetery. Arrangements are in charge of Pedrick Funeral Home in Keosauqua. A memorial has been established for the Lebanon Church.
