Rites For Mrs. Whitmore

BONAPARTE - Mrs. Ethel Murray Whitmore, 89, of Evanston, Ill., widow of Erwin Whitmore, died Tuesday afternoon at St. Francis Hospital in Evanston.

The body will arrive Friday at the Pedrick Funeral Home in Douds. Graveside services will be held Saturday at 2 p.m., at the Bonaparte Cemetery.

Mrs. Whitmore was born Oct. 19, 1884 in Bakersfield, Calif. In 1888 she moved with her parents to Eastern Oregon. She later lived in Idaho and at Bonaparte. She had lived in the Chicago area for 64 years.

Nieces and nephews survive including Mrs. Marie Greenfield of Douds and Roscoe Whitmore of Libertyville.
