WORKMAN FUNERAL

FAIRFIELD - The service for Faye M. Workman, 72, of 501 S. Main St., who died Sunday, will be Wednesday at 10 a.m. at Pedrick Funeral Home in Keosauqua. The Rev. Harold Schnedler will officiate, and burial will be in Kilbourne Cemetery.

A memorial has been established payable to the cemetery, and contributions may be left at the funeral home.

Mrs. Workman was born July 10, 1904, at Kilbourne to Charles and Bessie Catcott Maxwell. She was a member of the Mount Zion Ladies Aid.

On Jan. 11, 1923, she married Lee Workman in Ottumwa. They farmed in the Mount Zion community north of Keosauqua until retiring to Fairfield in 1971. He died in 1971.

Surviving are one daughter, Mrs. Betty Hasty of Shepherdsville, Ky.; six grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
